Add Some Kick to Breakfast
Think back on your week, and remember what it is you had for breakfast. Toast, cereal, maybe some bland eggs that were whipped up and hurried through before your kids ran off to school, and you made your way to work. You may have even ignored the meal altogether, and opted instead to consume huge amounts of coffee.
You can learn to enjoy breakfast again, all by adding a few little extras to your old favorites, and revitalizing them. Instead of doing the same old eggs, why not turn it into a skillet? Add in some diced potatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, and artichoke hearts, top with some cheese, and serve with toast. Easy and delicious.
Bored with Ego waffles and syrup? Why not add some whip cream and fresh strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries? Or buy a waffle maker (usually priced around $12), and make your own with chocolate chips, bananas, or anything else you can think of.
These ideas don’t take long at all, in fact they only take a few extra minutes to prepare. Not only will these help to get breakfast started again, but they will help you to start your day right. This means more energy, a better attitude, and more strength to finish out the day.
